It seems that trouble has hit British boyband, One Direction, while on tour. Reports have circulated that the group is threatening to split up after one member's drinking has affected their performance while on tour.
The pop group sensation from Britain is currently in their "On The Road Again" tour, which brings them to different countries across the globe. Band member Liam Payne seemed to be taking the stress and exhaustion out in a different way as he was reportedly drinking a lot during the tour.
According to Inquistr, Payne was seen drinking at a club on Valentine's day in which he fell down on the ground because he was too intoxicated. In a separate night, the same One Direction member was also spotted partying with fellow band mate, Louis Tomlinson, in which it appeared that Payne also got drunk.
The drinking problem reportedly got worse that other band members fear the 21-year old would not be able to perform well at their next tour destination, which is in Tokyo.
A tweet posted by the singer said, "Early show after a night out not a good mix, hope it's good for you Tokyo." No report has been made if Payne was out again and partied hard the night before.
It seems that the singer has been getting bored while on tour and has been trying to get out of that feeling with a lot of partying. The constant stay in hotels has been getting the best of Payne, which has been taking a toll on him.
The problem is not limited to just Payne as Niall Horan has also taken to Twitter to inform fans that he gets bored while on tour as well, said Unreality TV. The only difference, it seems is that he doesn't take it out on alcohol when it happens.
Other band members have reportedly expressed concern over Payne and how his drinking would affect the group and their tour.
But Payne quickly slammed the rumors on how his drinking is affecting his work and his band mates.
The 21-year old took to Twitter to respond to claims that he has a drinking problem, said Yahoo!
Payne tweeted, "Now I don't really like responding too news articles anymore but I really think this is out of order I don't have a problem."
He also added, "Thanks for worrying but I don't spend my time off stage drinking I play video games with friends and go to the gym."
He posted another tweet regarding the matter saying, "I don't drink anymore than a uni student my age so don't treat me like I'm any different to a normal boy my age."
The One Direction member closed his replies with a final tweet directed to fans, which said, "Apologies for the rant guys have a nice evening x."
