Despite the coronavirus global pandemic, the real estate industry continues to be a highly competitive market. The health crisis leads many people to look for a bigger dwelling place that would fit their "new normal" lifestyle, including homeschooling, work-from-home setup, and indoor activities.

That is why a California-based real estate firm launches a new program to offer a solution to sellers experiencing a "sell before you buy" dilemma. In a press release, the family-owned real estate company William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance (WRRE) debuts the Raveis Purchase, which will allow sellers to maximize their time in acquiring a new house instead of waiting for their former home to get a new deal.

What is Raveis Purchase?

Earlier this month, WRRE introduced Raveis Purchase to the market. Under this new program, the company will buy a seller's house to access their home equity. It will also allow them to make an independent offer to the property they are eyeing. The program includes assistance from WRRE in buying, financing, and insuring the property.

"The program is the most convenient service for a home seller who wants to sell and buy in a hurry," the press release reads.

WRRE will purchase the house for sale with an initial payment of at least 80% of the home's current value.

"This is the ideal time to sell, and Raves Purchase is the easiest way to do it," says WRRE Co-President Ryan Raveis.

WRRE's assistance will not end in purchasing the seller's house. Under another Raveis Refresh program, the company will make necessary renovations and upgrade to the former home before it hits the market.

"WRRE will then prepare the home for sale with their network of expert designers and proprietary vendor platform, making any necessary upgrades and renovations in order to maximize the home's value to ensure the home sells for the highest price and as quickly as possible" the press release reads.

Once the home received an excellent deal, the sellers will receive the procedure, which WRRE is confident to exceed market expectation and additional value.

Meanwhile, Raveis described these programs as the "ultimate hassle-free home-selling."

Currently, the Raveis Purchase and Raveis Refresh are only available in nine states, including Florida, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, and New Jersey. The program is also open for all properties at any price point.
