America's favorite dance show is back on its 20th season and producers are determined to make the upcoming episodes and routines unforgettable with the addition of new cast members to take on the challenge. Rumors have circulated that among the new stars to take part in the show is recent lead guy from "The Bachelor."
It seems that even before his stint with ABC Entertainment ends, Chris Soules would extend his stay with the network company by joining the cast of "Dancing With The Stars" upcoming 20th season.
"The Bachelor" is about to have its finale for Season 19 in March, which would see Soules choose between Whitney and Becca, noted E! News.
US Magazine confirmed the rumors that the 33-year old farmer would join the cast of "DWTS" when it opens its 20th season and 10th year anniversary on March 16.
A source revealed that Soules is excited about his stint and called up fellow 'The Bachelor" alum, Sean Lowe for some tips.
"He seems like he's not totally sure what he's getting himself into! It will be fascinating to see how well he does," said the insider.
Soules has expressed his openness to join the "DWTS" cast even before the start of his show in ABC.
"I went through 'The Bachelorette' and never though I'd do that and did it and it was a great experience. Now being the Bachelor, it's been an extraordinary experience... I'm open to a lot of opportunities, I'd be willing to consider these sort of tings. But I'm going to do what's best for me and do what's right and what I feel is right for my future," said Soules.
The reality TV star also mentioned considering taking extra classes on yoga "because watching those people and some of the stuff they do, I'm not a very flexible guy, so I am going to need to get limbered up if that's going to happen!"
Soules would be paired with dancer Witney Carson in the show.
Meanwhile, Derek Hough and Olympic gold medalist gymnast Nastia Liukin are excited for the upcoming season, said Access Hollywood. The two are planning to cook up a dancing storm in the season despite challenges with the distance to keep them practicing together.
NFL Scouting Combine Michael Sam would partner with professional dancer Peta Murgatoyd and has expressed his determination to excel this season in spite of having to train not just for the show but also for the combine.
Joining the cast are other celebrities Suzanne Somers, Patt LaBelle, Riker Lynch and Rumer Willis.
