Emma Stone, the multi-awarded actress who recently received an Oscar nod for her role in the 2023 film 'Poor Things," has racked up another win in real estate.
In January, the actress put her Los Angeles home on the market for a whopping $3.995 million. Nestled in Comstock Hills, Stone's LA mansion spans 3,276 square feet and features a Spanish-inspired interior with pops of colors and patterns.
Purchased in 2019 for $2.3 million, Stone had several renovations done to her LA home, including expanding the kitchen and having a guest house built. However, the property's original architectural details, including its exposed beamed ceilings and tiled courtyard, were kept.
Part of the LA home's best features is its bathroom, which exudes "cottagecore" vibes, thanks in part to its built-in vanity and scalloped ceiling pendant lighting. Photos from the listing, which is no longer available on the website of Sotheby's International Realty, also showed a well-decorated sitting area that opens directly to the courtyard.
Listing agent Eric Lavey of Sotheby's International Realty - Beverly Hills Brokerage said more than 100 people attended an Open House for Stone's property in the first weekend since its listing and received multiple offers for the home.
Emma Stone's Real Estate Portfolio
Apart from her LA mansion, Stone has created an impressive real estate portfolio since she launched her acting career.
In 2012, Stone purchased a Beverly Hills home for $2.47 million. Located in the Coldwater Canyon neighborhood, the property boasts four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The property also spanned 3,862 feet and featured an asymmetrical fireplace and French doors that opened to the swimming pool in the backyard. Stone sold the home for $3.89 million in 2019.
In 2016, Stone bought a $2.4 million West Village one-bedroom condo unit. The property spanned 821-square-foot and featured a sunken living room and park views. However, the condo unit sold for a loss at $2.25 million in 2021.
In 2018, Stone shelled out $3.25 million for a midcentury-style, three-bedroom and two-bathroom mansion in Malibu. The property, which spanned 1,700 square feet, boasted views of the ocean. She sold it for nearly $4.43 million in 2022.
Stone currently lives in a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home in Austin, Texas, with her husband-comedian and writer Dave McCary, whom she married in 2020-and their daughter Louise. The value of the property is contested, with some saying it was $4.7 million at the time of purchase, while others put its value between $7 million and $8 million, per House Beautiful.
