Forbes has just confirmed that “Bubbly" singer Colbie Caillat has just put her Hidden Hills home on the market. She is selling it for $6.4 million a few months after she purchased it for $6.1 million in 2014, according to Variety.
A separate article from Variety has mentioned that this Santa Barbara-inspired property spans for 1.31 acres of mostly landscaped grounds. The mansion is an 8,400-square-foot estate that has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and even its own bell tower courtyard.
The house’s main rooms have been purposely designed to surround a bigger “Great Room” that has sliding glass panels disappearing into the walls. It then transforms itself into what looks like a modernized ballroom, with a spacious loggia that has authentic stone floors and raised wood beam ceilings, Variety added.
Its music room is so huge that it can even be used as a recreational space. It has an expensive piano, its own gym facilities, a spacious game room, and its own entertainment area that boasts of a 120” screen that is capable of 3D and HD projection, the report detailed.
The kitchen has a massive center island, which is apart from the estate’s very own wet bar. Its elegant swimming pool, with a shelf feature, even has its own outdoor kitchen. Within the grounds is a spa, a wide lawn, a vegetable garden, and a putting green. Plus, it has a garage that can hold up to four vehicles, according to Los Angeles Times.
The Hidden Hills is an expensive gated community in Los Angeles, California. It may sound pretty familiar for many fans, particularly because this is the very same community that now holds the million-dollar homes of Drake, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, as reported by Trulia.
Moreover, Forbes is convinced that Caillat did not apply so many drastic changes to the property. It would appear that the only modifications that were incorporated were pretty cosmetic in nature, such as getting rid of the relatively stodgy media room and added more hues to its color scheme.
Caillat is famous for her greatly relaxing chill-out music. Taking a look at the house she has lived in for several months, it would certainly seem that she is a pretty laid-back person, just like the beach-casual personality that she depicts with her music.
