Lynn Ban, the star in the hit reality series "Bling Empire" and a real estate heiress, has died in her $5 million apartment after she underwent brain surgery.
Ban's passing was announced by her son, Sebastian, on her Instagram account less than a month after she had to undergo an emergency brain surgery due to an intracranial hemorrhage that she sustained in a ski accident.
"My mum passed away on Monday," her son wrote. "I know she wanted to share her journey after her accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate one last post sharing the news to people who supported her."
Her body was reportedly found in bed by her husband, Jett Kain, at her $5 million apartment in Tribeca at around 1:30 p.m. Authorities were later called to the property. Ban was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the New York Post.

Ban's Accident and Surgery
On Christmas Day, Ban reportedly "caught a tip" at the top of the mountain while skiing in Aspen, Colorado, leading her to fall on her face. Immediately after the accident, Ban said ski patrol had cleared her after checking her for a concussion. The patrol said her fall "didn't seem that bad at the time."
A paramedic, however, told Ban to get a CT scan, where doctors discovered she had a brain bleed. She was airlifted to a trauma hospital where she was intubated and recommended to undergo emergency craniotomy, per The New York Times.
