'Baywatch' Star David Hasselhoff Puts up California Home for Sale

CNN Reports that David Hasselhoff, star of the hit show "Baywatch", is listing his two-story California home in the market for $2.3 million.

According to Variety, the ad reveals that the property area spans 5,787 sq. ft. It is described as an "absolutely stunning custom mediterranean showplace" having a 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom French Mediterranean-style mini-mansion in California.

David Hasselhoff contacted Barbara Alpert as his real estate listing agent. Ms. Alpert says, as noted by CNN, that the luxury house has a master suite that has been newly-remodeled to suit his taste. The Variety report mentions that the master suite has a large sitting area, a walk-in closet and direct access to outdoors through a multi-paned glass slider.

As cast of the TV show "Baywatch" -- the same show that launched Pamela Anderson to stardom -- it is not surprising to fans that his master suite comes with a sexy bathroom, also relayed by Ms. Alpert.

Other amenities of the famous celebrity's home is a family room with a wet bar, a sunken formal living room, and a formal dining room which overlooks the stunning backyard.

Perhaps, what would amaze prospects and would-be buyers is the lush and stunning landscaping of the 1.53-acre property. It has additional rock waterfalls in it which spill into the free-flowing pool and spa in an alluring fashion. Some green grass and palm trees complement the waterfalls for that tropical feel.

The California home is open to interested buyers this Friday for the first time and brokers anticipate that it will hit some good bids, probably earning Hasselhoff a decent amount of profit. The actor bought the suburban home in May 2013 and is located in a luxury villa in Calabasas, which is a gated community, according to Variety.

Another interesting note on the Hasselhoff house is that it is very near the wonderful getaway, Malibu Beach. It would be rememebered that this is where his Baywatch character, Mitch Buchanon -- the lead of the soap opera featuring hot lifeguards in swimsuits that aired for 12 years -- used to work.

David Hasselhof is also known for the hit early 1980s series featuring a sleek black car, "Knight Rider." He then became one of the judges in the talent show "America's Got Talent". He also started his singing career in the late '80s and also flaunted his dancing chops in " Dancing with the Stars."
