John posted a hilarious photo on his Instagram about his visit in the "Full House" location. In the photo, the three fans who were with him during the visit actually missed him, noted E! Online. He was not recognized at all!
In the picture, the 51-year-old actor is looking at the camera with a somewhat amused look, while the three visitors carried on with their tour. Didn't they know that it was the popular "Uncle Jesse" of the equally famous family sitcom "Full House" that they just ignored?
As seen in NY Daily News, he even captioned the photo :
"Boy, these youngsters have 0.0 idea what they're missing," he captioned the photo. "#Fullhousehouse. #TURNAROUND."
The actor's post, however, did not become "unnoticed". According to the report of E! Online, a Fullhouse Fan even replied:
"Aww man I was there at that same time but sitting in the grass in Alamo Square. I remember seeing those kids yesterday if only I knew you were down there!!!!"
The fan who posted his reaction was actually sitting in Alamo Square which was another popular scenic location featured in the show's opening credits, notes E! Online. It is also now a tourist attraction.
The "Full House" location receives tourists because the site is the actual San Francisco house used in the series starring Bob Saget, Mary-Kate Olsen, Dave Coulier and Ashley Olsen, among others.
John Stamos played the role of Uncle Jesse, brother-in-law of Bob Saget's role, Danny Tanner. Danny was a TV sports broadcaster who lost his wife after an accident. He solicited Uncle Jesse's help to raise his three children, DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle. Aside from Uncle Jesse, their fellow friend, Joey lived in the Full House's basement.
Later on, Uncle Jesse and his wife Becky, together with their twin sons, continued living in the same house where Danny Tanner still lived with his three lovely daughters. It was actually a "Full House" indeed with Joe still living there.
Joe was played by Dave Coulier. Twins in real life, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen actually acted as one character only, Michelle. It is reported that Mary-Kate and Ashley are still close to John Stamos in real life, along with the other characters.
The "Full House" sitcom had its fair share of following, airing from 1987 to 1995, but it is still showing via reruns.
