Fans of the famous role-playing game, "Final Fantasy," are in great anticipation for its release ever since the 15th installment was announced. While no exact date was mentioned for it to reach the gamers' hands, the developers behind the famous RPG is set to come out with a game demo.
According to News Everyday, an online shopping site, Amazon, already posted "Final Fantasy XV" for pre-order on its website but a release date has yet to be announced.
Perhaps to alleviate the fans' agony with the long wait, Square Enix, the company behind "Final Fantasy XV," is set to come out with a demo video for the upcoming 15th installment of the videogame.
However, the demo would not be made available separately from the "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD."
Product Marketing Manager Scott Strichart said, "First, this demo is exclusive to Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. We're never going to release it as a stand alone piece down the line. Secondly, it's intended to be a special gift for those of you who purchase early - the demo will be limited to the 'Day One' edition of the game, meaning that only the first shipment is going to have the demo in it."
He added, "So if the demo is something you think you might like, we highly encourage you to pre-order or to be quick about getting to the store on launch day, March 17, 2015."
With news of a demo coming out soon, many fans are eager to know what could be expected from the full "Final Fantasy XV" game.
The game's lead designer hinted at what could be seen in the game during the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East 2015.
In a report on IGN, the designers including Wan Hazmer and Prasert Prasertvithyakarn noted that they wanted gamers to experience the new game with familiarity and culture shock.
According to Hazmer, they took inspiration from the film, "Back To The Future II," in designing the upcoming video game.
A report in Screen Rage in January 2015 said that Hazmer the new game was made under the premise of "fantasy based on reality."
He explained the connection of the game with the film starring Michael J. Fox. He said, "Near the start of the movie, you actually see Marty McFly walking through this alley. It's his first time in the future. And then when the scene opens up, you can actually see flying cars and people wearing weird fashion. There are hoverboards and that stuff. But people are walking normally, right? Why they're walking normally is that they've seen tat culture throughout all those years, so they wouldn't be surprised."
Hazmer noted that this is the feeling they want gamers to experience when they play "Final Fantasy XV" for the first time.
The 15th installment of the RPG game is set for release in 2016.
