'Final Fantasy 15' PS4, Xbox One Release & Trailer: Gameplay Awesome, Says Initial Reviews -- Details Here

Gamers have been waiting for years for a new title for the "Final Fantasy" franchise and initial reviews of the game have revealed that the wait may be worth it.f

In a new article by Master Herald, the fifteenth installment of the popular series has been getting a lot of positive feedback.

"Reviewers noted that the demo they got to play was time-limited, and designed in a way that makes it practically impossible to explore its full contents in one hour. And yet, the portion that can be seen speaks clearly enough - the game has been developed with a very innovative, creative approach, and its developers certainly aren't afraid to experiment a little if it means moving the series forward."

Per the publication one of the most notable features of the soon-to-be-released title would be its seamless gameplay. "Side quests aren't delivered through a big pointing arrow, but instead party members would hint at them in their dialogue, with remarks that sound completely natural," cited the website as an example.

Relatedly, IGN wrote that following an opportunity for a hands-on with the "Final Fantasy XV" game during the PAX East 2015, Mitch along with Marty Sliva reported that the new action-oriented combat design was "awesome."

For the first time in franchise history, "Final Fantasy XV" will be the first flagship title to allow players to have direct and complete control over real-time combat providing an exciting action RPG experience.

With regards to the graphics and exploration, GameSpot reports that that the scenes offer "a mix of forests, marshes, plains, and a few small outposts of humanity" giving players a sense of community and not being entirely alone. Commenting on the technical performance of the game, the visuals and game's art are fantastic, reports the site. While it did have some technical hang-ups, especially while on PS4, overall, the game impressed.

The upcoming action role-playing video game, to be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, won't be out within the year, as revealed by Sony. The game is estimated to hit the shelves sometime in 2016.

Kotaku shared that per Game Director Hajime Tabata of Square Enix, the game has passed the halfway mark in development. "We're now at 60 percent," said the director and when they hit 80%, the remaining one-fifth of the game should come together in no time.
