If rumors were true, it seems that aside from being a busy mom of three beautiful children and a sought-after Hollywood actress, Reese Witherspoon is cooking up something in Nashville.
Daily Mail reports that the "Legally Blonde" star Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth are apparently opening a Nashville Boutique hotel. According to Daily Mail, a source told Us Weekly about it saying, "They've gone down a few times to look at properties." The source further said," that the couple already met with an architect and decorator. However, the deal is not yet final because they have not officially signed everything yet. "
Although the couple is based in Palisades, California, it's not unlikely for the famous actress to consider Nashville as a setting to put up this supposed boutique hotel, Dalily Mail notes. Witherspoon, 38 years old, was born in this city. She even named her son, Tennessee for the love of its state, the report adds. Long-term investment in the area would be a good idea for this couple with Reese's parents nearby to boost her morale.
These rumors may have been based on the recent post of the actress on her Instagram account. Followers of the Academy Award winning actress were intrigued by her recent post, which she personally captioned as #SecretProject....coming soon....'. In the photo, she teased about a "secret project" while posing in front of an entrance of a house with her pointer finger pressed to her lips.
But Daily Mail also says that the Instagram post might just be for another business project that Witherspoon could be planning for her lifestyle brand, Drapers James, to be launched just after winter.
Rumor not true?
Gossip Cop states that Reese Witherspoon is not opening a hotel in Nashville. According to Gossip Cop, it got the exclusive information from Witherspoon's close friend.
No formal denial or confirmation came from Witherspoon's camp. If these rumors were true, most of her fans would be excited to have her boutique hotel in Nashville. She has always been chic and elegant on the red carpet and as a fashionista, having a boutique hotel with its interior designed by Witherspoon would be great, notes Daily Mail. If this is not true, this could at least have given the couple an interesting idea, after all.
Couple's Nashville property
Witherspoon and Toth bought a $1.95 million suburban fixer-upper property in a wealthy communtiy in Oak Hill, according to report by Variety published in August. The old property, has an area of 3,855 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
The two-story Oak Hill residence, was originally built in the 1930s by a prominent Nashville family. The house has pilastered and shuttered front facade. The listing suggested for a full renovation even though the house still has a touch of elegance from the outside. It has oak flooring, but no more kitchen and laundry room. Although, it still has its formal living room and dining room.
