Rihanna isn't out of the loop. The "Cheers" singer is said to be updated on ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's baby drama and has gone so far as to offer advice and is said to be preparing a gift for her former flame.
In a recent article by Urban Islandz, it was reported that per sources close to Rihanna, 27, the pop star has spoken to Chris, 25, and given him some words of wisdom.
"RiRi spoke with Chris and he told her everything because he knows she is the one person he can confide in about anything," said the site's sources.
"She gave him some positive advice and told him that he should try to be a good father and gave him her best wishes in fatherhood," added the insiders. "RiRi love kids and firmly believe that no matter what the circumstance the kid should come first. So her advice is simple, put the kid first."
Baby Gift?
While that's all lovely sentiment, other sources reveal that Rihanna may not be handling the reports very well. According to an exclusive by Hollywood Life, advice isn't all that RiRi is planning to give her former love.
"Rihanna isn't getting Chris or his child anything. She has joked to friends that she should get him something, but that would be condoms," a source told the website.
In an earlier article, the site detailed the pop star's reaction when the news broke. "Rihanna was shocked and had to read the reports four times before it finally sunk in," reported the entertainment portal but added that Rihanna is hoping that "this might finally wake him up and actually have him grow up and become a man."
Chris Brown's 9-month old daughter named Royalty is shared with 31-year-old model Nia. After the news broke of the singer's secret baby, on-again-off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran dumped the singer because she didn't want all the controversy.
Tran posted the announcement via Twitter saying, "Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."

Brown and Tran have been dating on-and-off for four years. While she's been dropping some Twitter activity that obviously targets her ex-beau, Tran was als spotted by Mail Online hanging out with friends and laughing.
She along with some girlfriends were spotted dining al fresco and sipping mimosas. The model looked relaxed and happy and we have to say, it looks like the single life agrees with Karrueche.
