Getting pregnant the second time is proving to be very difficult for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Reports have circulated that the exhausted and sad couple are almost close to giving up on having their second baby the natural way and are contemplating taking a different course.
According to a report in Hollywood Life, the reality TV star is close to rock bottom after she and her rapper husband have been unsuccessful in getting their daughter, North, a sibling.
The 34-year-old mother has expressed her desire to have a huge family but it seems that the dream is slowly crumbling down as it is taking a long time for her to conceive again.
A source close to the celebrity revealed, "Kim gets caught up in moments of depression. When she does, Kanye's always right there to comfort her and tell her it's all right."
The wife to Kanye West is reportedly heartbroken that she is not pregnant yet.
The insider added, "He reassures her that she's not the problem and that everything is fine. He always promises her that they will have another baby no matter what."
Kardashian is reportedly open to the idea that she might have to get her second child in a different method and was rumored to consider getting a surrogate instead.
Early in January 2015, Radar Online published a report that the 34-year-old reality TV star approached her eldest sister to ask if Kourtney would be willing to be her baby's surrogate.
While Kourtney was rumored to have agreed before to Khloe, it seemed that she shot the idea down for Kim.
"She'd do it for Khloe in a heartbeat, but Kim is such a control freak, she knows it would be a nightmare," the source said.
Kardashian knew it would be a challenge to get pregnant again. In the January 2015 issue of Elle UK, the reality TV star revealed that before North, doctors told her she would "never get pregnant."
"Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen," she said.
Trying for a second baby is taking a toll on Kardashian, who appeared tired in a teaser video for the upcoming season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
The reason for her exhaustion is that she and her husband have been reportedly trying for baby no. 2 "500 times a day," said Hollywood Life.
The couple also added going for IVF as one of their options should trying for North's sibling naturally prove to be futile.
