TMZ reported over the weekend that Manny Paquiao is officially buying Diddy's formerly-owned house in Beverly Hills for $12.5M.
It was also noted that Pacman may have wanted to move in soon, in time for the upcoming Manny vs Floyd boxing fight..
It can be recalled that after his training, Pacquiao and his crew viewed the house last weekend, as reported here at RealtyToday.
After touring the house, Manny was reportedly impressed with it and its interior. Connie Sison, a reporter from GMANetwork even asked him if he will make an offer that night, and Manny confirmed with a firm "Yes."
As reported in Realty Today, he described the house as "beautiful" and another plus factor is the privacy it offers. This mansion is located in The Summit, a gated subdivision in Beverly Hills. He also considered his wife when he made the decision. He immediately smiled when he saw the His and Hers walk-in closet in the Master's Bedroom. As seen in GMA News' video, he just knew that his wife, Jinky will love it.
Manny Buys the House and Everything in It?
The mansion has 7 bedrooms and 7.5 baths, according to reports. Manny seemed to like it so much that he also wanted everything in it, TMZ reported. His deal was to include in the sale all the furnishing in the house from the art pieces to the current furniture and appliances seen in the house when he toured it. The owners even agreed to pamper Paquiao with a stocked-wet bar, noted TMZ.
Even without the furniture, the 10,000 sq.ft. house boasts of a 25-car garage, a saltwater swimming pool and a $200,000 home theater. The house was formerly owned by Diddy, also known as Puff Daddy in the late 90s. He sold it in 2001, TMZ stated.
So, did Pacquiao buy the property?
Several reports have claimed that Pacman did not wait for the big amount that he could pocket from his fight against Floyd Mayweather on May 2. Daily Mail noted that Manny could get $120M from this fight---that is like Manny Paquiao's net worth already!
Not Yet Official
Although rumors spread that Manny has already bought the house, ABSCBN News reported that Manny "just made an offer."
Some people speculated that Manny might officially buy the house after the much talked about boxing battle.
With Paquiao's net worth amounting to around $110M according to Celebrity Net Worth, and part of it was the almost $42M he just earned from last year, as Forbes reported, he can definitely afford a mansion worth $12M even before the fight.
