PlayStation Plus (PS 3) users are in for a treat since they now have a chance to download a semi-secret bonus game, according to Dual Shockers. For a limited time, PS+ gamers can avail of a unique game from an indie game provider, WayForward Technologies.
WayForward announced on their official Twitter page that “Mighty Flip Champs! DX” is officially available all for free for gamers with PlayStation Plus consoles. They wrote, “Flip on your @Playstation and sign in! #MightyFlipChampsDX is now free on PlayStation Plus!”
PS+ members just have to log into the PlayStation Store and nab the game before time runs out. It is available for PS Portable, PS Vita, and PS 3, according to Cinema Blend.
Also, PlayStation Europe confirmed that “Dishonored” from Arkane Studio will soon be out. They had initially mistakenly announced that the game will be among the free games to be provided for March. To rectify the mistake, the company took to its official Twitter page to tell fans and followers that the game will be out by April, and not this month.
“‘Dishonored" is coming to PlayStation Plus (PS3) in April. Sorry for the confusion this month. We pulled the trigger too early!” the social media post read.
“Mighty Flip Champs! DX” is actually the PS edition of “Mighty Flip Champs!” Gamers with experience playing with a Nintendo DS will certainly recognize the latter. It was first released in 2009 and was quick to emerge as one of the highly played games of the DSi marketplace.
Meanwhile, “Dishonored” has a darker premise. The game has an industrial location, set in the fictional city of Dunwall. The technology featured in the game is clearly old-school, inspired by steam-punk engines. Plus, Christian Today stated that there are unknown elements that lurk in the darker portions of the game.
It is a role-playing game wherein the player has to assume the role of the Empress’ bodyguard, Corvo Attano. The plot thickens when Attano is suddenly framed for the Empress’ murder, which inspired the game title, “Dishonored.” The primary protagonist of the game turns into a notorious assassin who keeps his face covered with a disturbing mask.
Getting the game for absolutely free on April is an amazing deal, considering that “Dishonored” has won several awards since it was released in 2012. It won Best Action Adventure Game in the 2012 Spike Video Game Awards, Best Environmental Design at the Inside Gaming Awards, and Audience Choice Award in the 2013 Game Developer’s Choice Awards.
