A few days since Rockstar Games released the highly anticipated update to its "Grand Theft Auto V" game, many players are still experiencing problems and glitches. The update, which would bring the "Online Heists" game to players, left the developers scrambling for a solution to fix these issues.
According to Cinema Blend, Rockstar was finally able to upload a patch to address the problems in the game a few days after the update to "GTA V" was release.
A short note marked the announcement in the developers' website which said, "Fixes for GTA Online to improve stability, and other minor fixes for both GTA Online and Story Mode."
As of March 15, the article has been updated to include that the patch could now be accessed through all platforms compatible with the video game.
While Rockstar Games did not enumerate the specific fixes the update would address, many assumed that it is the solution to the issues they experienced on the release date of the "Online Heists."
Among the issues encountered by gamers is the difficulty in entering the game's servers to access the update. Others who were able to download it and start the game had a hard time completing the heists due to some glitches.
This caused many gamers to feel frustrated after waiting for almost two years to receive the update, which was promised to be flawless after the numerous delays it took.
However, renowned "GTA" tipster, Funmw2, was quick to provide good news to the game's fans. On March 13, he posted a tweet on his account to reveal that the developers prepared solutions to the problems.
His tweet said, "The PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One update contains fixes for multiple unexpected errors, rendering issues, security and matchmaking problems."
The update would address "all existing game-breaking mods and glitches in 'GTA V,' and help to improve the overall gameplay experience in Heists for 'GTA Online,'" said YouTube leaker DomisLive in a report in IB Times.
It is also expected to fix server connection issues and friend invites for "GTA Online."
In spite of the trouble brought by the update to "GTA V," the game is still expected to rake in a lot of new followers and fans looking forward to the heists mission.
The game is also expected to be a big hit with PC users once it is made available on that platform.
The "GTA V" for PC is available at Green Man Gaming for only $47 for pre-order, reported Game Spot.
