Motorola Smartphones 2015: Want a Cheap Moto X, Moto 360, Moto G & Nexus 6? Here's How

Motorola has launched a new promo under its "Friends With Moto" program and is now offering customers big discounts on selected items.

According to Tech Times, if you know someone working at Motorola, then this is going to be a big steal for you. This year, the company has offered great deals across is mobile products as opposed to last year's $50 off the Moto X.

The information, announced by Motorola employee Gopinath Palaniappan via Google + reveals that huge deals are available for those interested in the Moto 360, Moto X, Moto G as well as the Nexus 6.

The discounts give buyers of the Moto 360 a 20% discount on all items that include the new cognac model that will become only $200. This would also be a good time to get the new mono-link model and champagne gold slim bad that retails for $240 and $265, respectively.

The flagship product, the Moto X, will get 28% off that puts its base model at a much cheaper $288 and for those who want to customize their specs, don't worry you won't be left out. There is a $140 price slash for Moto X with any configuration meaning off contract, you can design your own device for as little as $360.

For those with their eye on the Moto G 3G, there is a 16% price reduction meaning you can get your own (black or white) smartphone for only $150. Lastly, the Nexus 6 is getting up to 26% off. With a color option of midnight blue or cloud white, the 32GB device is only $480 while the larger 64GB becomes $530.

What isn't included in the promo is the Motorola's newest device, the Moto E with LTE. CNet shared the details about the company's second-generation budget device. The smartphone's hardware packs a 4.5-inch display and 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM for phone performance. It's also got 8GB of internal memory, 5MP rear camera with 0.3MP front snapper. It comes loaded with Android Lollipop 5.0.2, 4G LTE for connectivity and a lasting 2,390 mAh battery.

The process, detailed by Phone Arena, is facilitated electronically. Motorola employees are given personal URLs which they will share with their friends and family members who wish to avail of the discount. After the form is filled out, an email is sent to the employee you've cited and you will be sent back a code to use for the discounted price.
