With Mother's Day a few weeks away, the stars of "The Hunger Games" shared what makes their moms special.
In an endearing yet funny clip, the cast of the hit film, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" provided fond memories and thoughts about the dear parent.
According to Daily Express, Film star Natalie Dormer, best known for her role in HBO's "Game of Thrones" reflected on the best advice her mother gave her that has stayed with her to this day.
"If someone is criticizing you, it's a reflection of them and not you. When people say horrible things about your personality or your parents, it shows their own insecurity about themselves," recalled the star fondly.
Next in the clip was Sam Clafin who says his mother told him to "Never forget where you came from."
He continued that his mother makes him proud and it's not so much the advice that stuck to him but the way she lived her life. "It's not what she said, its watching her and observing her growing up. She's a real real trooper. She's my hero in a sense so I guess that's all the advice you need to give."
When it came to the big stars of the film, there was a bit of teasing between Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.
Hutcherson, playing the role of Peeta, recalled the golden rule, "Treat the people the way you wanna bet treated." This then earned a quip from Lawrence who teased him saying, "How original..." and both began to laugh.
When it was the turn of the X-Men star, Josh didn't miss a beat. "She always told me to be myself," said Jennifer to which Josh repeated her joke about being original.
The actress then defended herself by explaining that she "was a weird kid." The star continued to recall that she would "come home and be like, 'Everyone is calling me weird,' and she's like, 'Well, you are weird, but be yourself.'"
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2"
The final book of Suzanne Collins' trilogy covers the journey to overthrow the Capitol.
"With Mockingjay - Part I it's tricky because Peeta is out of reach for her," revealed the director Francis Lawrence via Entertainment Weekly in a earlier interview. "Obviously he becomes an objective for her, but Gale is right there, so that's always a tricky situation."
Even though the director didn't detail more about the plot for the second film, he did tease that audiences will see "two different, very distinct stories."
The film will be out Nov. 2015.
