'Batman V Superman' Trailer & News: Trailer Date Delayed, To Launch During Summer Event? [Rumors]

So far, the upcoming superhero film, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has only released images with no indication of when a full trailer will be unveiled.

While there have been rumblings about trailer leaks multiple times over the last few months, a majority of sources believe that the film may drop around the same time as other highly anticipated movies, namely "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Mad Max: Fury Road" both due out May of this year.

However, with "Mad Max: Fury Road" being another Warner Bros. blockbuster, many analyzed that a tandem with this particular film would be more advantageous.

San Diego Comic Con 2015

In a new report by Christian Today, it was said mentioned that a December 2014 teaser was supposedly in the works but due to the alleged trailer leak, the studio opted to hold off on releasing an official video.

Now, the online publication reports that the July San Diego Comic Con is a possible venue for a trailer launch. The site continued to say that "This will let the film have the spotlight all to itself, especially since Marvel has no bombshell to drop during that time. If this comes to pass, then fans will get the first look of the hotly-anticipated film sometime in July."

This would make great sense given the exclusivity that the venue would bring. During last year's San Diego Comic Con, a "Batman V Superman" teaser trailer was revealed which generated quite the excitement among audiences.

In earlier reports, Realty Today noted that trailer leaks have been spotted on 4Chan but can no longer be found anywhere online. The first alleged leak was over the Christmas holiday and was said to only feature the two lead characters, Batman and Superman.

The second reported leak was earlier this month and unlike the first, it showed more characters that include the likes of Aquaman, The Flash as well as Cyborg.

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be released a year from now, on March 25, 2016.

Actors tied to the film include Ben Affleck (Batman/ Bruce Wayne), Henry Cavill (Superman/ Clark Kent), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and much more.
