Fans of the dinosaur franchise based on Michael Crichton's novels are already in great anticipation of the fourth installment from the series set to hit theaters in June 2015. However, it seems that the dinosaurs would soon not be limited to print and movie screens. Word is out that a video game developing firm is taking the popular dinosaurs into the world's favorite toy blocks to create a one-of-a-kind video game.
According to Game Rant, the company behind the popular games featuring LEGO blocks, Traveller's Tales, is once again adapting a hit movie to bring to life in video game format.
One of the two planned releases this year, the "LEGO Jurassic World" recently released a gameplay trailer to give fans a glimpse of what to expect.
The title is based on the upcoming movie of the same name. However, it is noted that the video game would feature scenes from all the first three "Jurassic Park" movies.
No scenes from the upcoming film were included as the company behind the Chris Pratt-starring movie is doing its best to keep any spoilers from leaking to the public.
While Traveller's Tales are expected to inject their brand of humor, the upcoming game would follow suit with the previous "LEGO Lord of The Rings" release to incorporate dialogue from the movies on its game.
This is part of the developer's goal to make the game more believable and remind players of the "magic of the adapted films."
Apart from the dialogue, IGN reported that iconic scenes from the films would be reinvented in the game.
One of the most popular scenes from the movies is the part where the Tyrannosaurus Rex or T-Rex goes after an SUV that broke down. The developers added a few elements in the scene to create a puzzle that must be solved by gamers through the playable characters of Dr. Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm.
One reenacted scene featured Dr. Gerry Harding and Dr. Ellie Sattler as they care for some Triceratops that fell ill. Again, the scene involves puzzles that players must solve to advance to the next level.
"LEGO Jurassic World" joins other LEGO video games such as the "LEGO Lord of The Rings" and the upcoming "LEGO Marvel's Avengers."
The game would be available for all gaming platforms in June 2015.
