'Mortal Kombat X' Characters & PS4, Xbox One Release Date : Gunslinger Erron Black, Baraka, Shinnok Leaked?

Fans of the popular video game, "Mortal Kombat X," are in great anticipation of the tenth installment of the franchise. A month before its scheduled release, excitement has already been building up so much that numerous leaks appeared all over the Internet.

A recent leak showed new characters joining the cast of the upcoming video game, said Game Spot. Moreover, it seems that the developers are determined to make this the best "Mortal Kombat" ever yet with the new addition.

Screenshots of the soon to be released "Mortal Kombat X" were posted on the gaming forum, Xbox360Achievements, and the graphics looked amazing. However, what made fans take a second look is the apparent inclusion of a character they only heard about in the "Mortal Kombat X" comic book.

One of the screenshots showed Erron Black shooting Cassie Cage at point-blank, said Attack of the Fanboy. The famous gunslinger character from the comic book is known for its Brutality against its enemies and the screenshot itself seemed to prove that point.

Following the comic book, Black is a known ally of Kotal Kahn and considered a villain in the series, along with D'Vorah. One look at the characters would show that they mean business and are out to get anyone standing in their way.

Earlier in February, developers from NetherRealm Studios confirmed that the upcoming game would see the return of Brutalities first seen in "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3," noted Game Spot. These so-called finishing moves are very difficult and challenging to execute in the video game but would add bonus points to a player who manages to accomplish these.

With Brutalities coming back, the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X" seems to be one exciting, albeit gruesome, video game to play.

Aside from Black, the screenshots also showed Baraka and Shinnok. It is unclear whether the image that looked like Baraka is himself or someone who only looks like him, noted Tech Times.

A glimpse of Shinnok was also found in one of the screenshots. However, it remains to be seen if both Shinnok and Baraka would be playable characters in the upcoming video game.

NetherRealm Studios have yet to confirmed the leaked shots and until then, the reports must be taken with a grain of salt.

"Mortal Kombat X" is hitting current generation consoles and PC this April 14, while last-gen consoles would be able to get their hands on it at a later date this summer.
