‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5 Premiere Date & Spoilers: Sex Scenes Coming? Tyler Posey Reveals Steamy ‘Skira’ Details!

“Teen Wolf” Season 5 still does not have an official release date but online speculation regarding the show went viral when its official Twitter account stated, “6.29.15,” according to Master Herald. Although no explanation was provided regarding this cryptic social media post, it appeared to be enough to send the show’s following into a frenzy.

Additionally, it seems that “Teen Wolf” fans have a lot to celebrate for. Apart from the speculated release date, Tyler Posey also revealed some set secrets about the sex scenes planned between Scott and Kira, according to Hollywood Life.

Scott McCall, played by Posey, has a relatively “innocent” romance with Allison Argent, played by Crystal Reed, in the show’s previous episodes. However, Posey just dished that his new relationship with Kira Yukimura, played by Arden Cho, might be taken to the next level.

“Kira and Scott are so damn relatable,” Posey said at the Paleyfest in Los Angeles. “I love it. Scott’s last relationship with Allison was kind of awkward, but so innocent and cute and ‘first love.’ But, this one, you know, Scott, kind of, is more of a man.”

This development of the characters is actually part of the plan of the executive producer, Jeff Davis, for the show’s fifth season.

“A season of seeing our teenagers turn into adults and question whether they’re going to be able to keep their friends,” he said at the Paleyfest, as reported by Christian Post. “A lot of high schoolers have the fear that when you graduate, you move on, and you lose your friends. That’s something that happens everywhere, I think.”

Although taking on their character’s more adult personas might be something new for them, Posey seems to be having fun with it. “Actually, you know what, I think we may have had sex,” he said, laughing. “They, kind of, cut before. But there may have been…oh, God!”

Moreover, the teenagers can now become the focus of the show following the departure of Tyler Hoechlin, who played the role of Derek Hale. “Tyler Hoechlin decided he wanted more time to pursue movies,” Davis said. “We talked and creatively agreed that, maybe, this was a good reason to refocus on the teens of ‘Teen Wolf.’”

However, Davis emphasized that even though the werewolf Derek will no longer be a mainstay part of the cast, the audience have not yet “seen the last of Derek Hale.” “We love him and miss him,” he added.
