It was recently reported that Bruce Jenner's daughter Kendall has confirmed her dad's transition. Now, the up-and-coming model has taken to Twitter to set the record straight.
In an alleged exclusive interview, Us Weekly reported that the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star spoke on the record about her dad's rumored transition into a woman.
"I love my dad. He's always been there for me and my sisters. He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."
According to the magazine, the statements were made while they were with the 19-year-old at the backstage of Comedy Central's roast of Justin Bieber.
Now, the half-sister of Kim Kardashian has lashed out via social media to call out Us Weekly on what she says is a false report.
"how is it legal for someone to 'quote' someone and publish it if in fact you never said what was quoted," tweeted the daughter of the 65-year-old former Olympian and his ex-wife Kris Jenner. This was then followed up with post that directly names Us Weekly as the publication she's referring to.
"Shame on US Weekly for making up quotes. I NEVER said those things. I never spoke to them," wrote Kendall.
In addition to this, E! News reports that according to a family source that the report as well as the "weird" shoe metaphor was a "fake interview."
Bruce Jenner's Transition To a Woman
The changing appearance of the Kardashian-Jenner clan patriarch has been a hot topic over the last few months. The physical appearance that many say is becoming more "feminine" is believed to be part of a series of changes that will ultimately lead to his transition into a woman.
"Bruce is transitioning to a woman," quoted People Magazine of a source close to the family in January. "He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he's doing. He's in such a great space. That's why it's the perfect time to do something like this."
There is also speculation that a reality docu-series has been in the works. It will focus on Bruce as he goes through this life-changing process. However, following a fatal Malibu crash last month, the plans for the series has been put on hold.
As of this report, reps for Us Weekly and Kendall have yet to respond to requests for a comment.
