It seems that trouble is brewing in paradise for Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence and musician Chris Martin. The "Coldplay" frontman was spotted with actress Kate Hudson in the beach which sparked rumors that the on-off couple finally called it quits.
According to a report in Radar Online, Martin and Hudson were seen lounging together under the sun at the Coral Beach Cantina in Malibu. After that, it was reported that the two had dinner along with some other friends.
The English singer-songwriter's girlfriend, Lawrence, was nowhere in sight which fueled the reports that the couple finally separated.
It was learned that the "Mockingjay" star was on location in Boston shooting for another film and was unaware that her beau was out on a sunny frolic with another movie star.
The "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" star split with fiancé Matt Bellamy of Muse in 2014. Since then, she was reported to be single and not seeing anyone after a brief hook-up with Derek Hough.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old singer was reported to be dating Lawrence after he split from wife of 10 years, Gwyneth Paltrow, in 2014.
The 24-year-old Oscar winner began dating Martin after she broke up with longtime beau, Nicholas Hoult, whom she met at the filming of "X-Men: First Class."
Since then, numerous reports of the Martin-Lawrence romance circulated in the Internet.
While it remains unclear now if the two are still seeing each other, the rumored "hook-up" of the "Coldplay" frontman with Hudson was shot down by reports that the two are just good friends.
A report in Yahoo! wrote that Hudson and Martin were both with their children when they were photographed together at the beach. In addition bthe two have homes in Malibu which might be the reason for them being together.
Martin was photographed surfing the waves and reports noted that it was the main reason he was at the beach that day, and not to hang out with Goldie Hawn's daughter.
A source close to the two revealed to Hollywood Life that, "They are actually very close friends."
The insider went on to share that, "Chris met Kate through Gwyneth - they are like sisters - and the pair are both very active."
The reported "beach romp" was just nothing but "a harmless day at the beach," insisted the source.
The insider also added that both Martin and Hudson even "go to the gym together" and there is nothing going on between them.
