Ever since it was revealed that Bethesda Softworks will host an Entertainment Expo (E3) in June 2015, many gaming fanatics are eager to know if the company would release a new title by then. Rumors have circulated that among their works, the games "Elder Scrolls 6" and "Fallout 4" are among the two that may see a release soon.
While it remains unclear which of the two has the higher probability of getting to the hands of gamers soon, some reports claim that the highly anticipated "Fallout 4" would arrive to consoles in the second quarter of 2016.
The basis for this timeline is an alleged leak of a Bethseda employee, said KDramaStars.
The employee reportedly wrote an update about the video game on his LinkedIn profile, said the site Cyberland. The report noted that, "A guy who works for Bethseda named Gino Cole posted in his LinkedIn profile that he has been part of the development team for Fallout 4 for 3 years now."
It also wrote that the said employee mentioned May 2016 as the planned release date for the post-apocalyptic video game, "Fallout 4."
Its predecessor, "Fallout 3," was released in October 2008. Seven years after, fans are still waiting for news on when they could get their hands on an upgraded version of the game in "Fallout 4."
The developers have not made any announcement when people could expect the next installment of the franchise. However, a lot of fans speculated that Bethseda would unveil a new title at the E3 this June.
However, some followers of the franchise do not think a 2015 release of the game would arrive for "Fallout 4," said Christian Today. One of the reasons cited is that the company behind it is looking to come up with a better hardware for the video game as it was affected by Skyrim's new developments.
Meanwhile, a report in The Bit Bag hinted that Bethseda is working to bring the idea of the "Shadow of Mordor" Nemesis system to its own video game. This would give players a larger scope of influence to their factions which would have a bigger effect to the gameplay as a whole.
With this considered, a June 2015 launch would be close to impossible for "Fallout 4," leaving "Elder Scrolls 6" in the running.
However, Bethseda has not made any statement regarding the matter and it remains to be seen if the company would indeed come out with a new title at the E3 scheduled on June 16, 2015.
