‘Big Hero 6’ Sequel Plot, Spoilers & News: ‘Tadashi’ Returning to Join Hiro, Baymax & Co. [Rumors]

“Big Hero 6” was one of the biggest and most successful animated films that were released in 2014. It was an emotional story about family, love and friendship, and Baymax was very endearing.

Sadly, however, Crossmap has reported that Disney has their hands quite full and the “Big Hero 6” sequel is not among the movies on the list. Still, Fashion & Style is pretty confident that a sequel will be in the works soon.

“Big Hero 6” is centered on the story of a young boy named Hiro and his absolutely cute inflatable robot, Baymax. When his brother, Tadashi died after a villain-caused explosion, he and his tech-savvy friends formed a group and went head-to-head with the bad guys, as described by Yibada.

Moreover, rumor has it that, once the sequel to “Big Hero 6” finally comes to fruition, a character will be making an unexpected return.

Movie Pilot is convinced that the sequel will be entitled, “Big Hero 7.” “That ‘7’ will belong to a character we know from the first movie – Tadashi,” Jon Negroni of Movie Pilot said. He’ll be a villain of sorts in the sequel, inevitably joining the team fully to add that number. After all, ‘Big Hero 6 2’ is just weird branding.”

Fans of the franchise may recall that Tadashi was assumed dead when the building that he rushed into exploded into pieces only seconds after he entered. However, as Negroni has pointed out, “If there’s no body, that character is alive.”

A funeral service may have been held for Tadashi, but there was no body to bury or cremate, since his body was lost in the fire.

Even social media users have their own speculations on what happened to Tadashi. One fan said that Tadashi may have survived the fire but lost his memories and is somewhere in Sanfransoskyo, living another life. It is Baymax who finds him and brings him back to Aunt Cass’s café, according to Design & Trend.

“The inclusion of a fire is tantamount to how this theory works,” Negroni added. “Where do you think it came from? Most likely one of the inventions, and no one else apparently died from its flames.”

“I believe this invention had to do with nuclear energy,” he continued. “Why? Because ‘Big Hero 6’ and Disney are purposely setting up Tadashi to be Sunfire, one of the original members of the first ‘Big Hero 6’ team and a prominent character in the Marvel universe.”
