For someone who has created numerous complex and real-life characters, the likes of which include X-men, Fantastic Four, Spider Man, Thor, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and basically an entire universe of superheroes and villains alike, you can be sure that there's something a lot going on inside the guy's head.
And with the looks of it, Stan Lee's recent ventures in the real estate realm is just as brisk.
The man behind the iconic and highly-celebrated Marvel Comics has listed his Hollywood Hills West mansion for $5 million. Not long ago, Stan Lee was reported to have acquired and sold two other luxury estates within the same West Hollywood, California area as reported by Forbes.com.
The mansion is located right along the well-known Bird Streets neighborhood where celebrity homes can be found aplenty. Stan Lee paid $3.4 million for his acquisition of the property back in 2012.
It has five bedrooms and 6.5 baths. The house has a generous floor space of 4,963 square feet. The living area also looks expansive with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls and vaunted ceiling, the LA Times notes. The house has dark wood flooring that adds to its charm.
It also has some cool features like a chef's kitchen that opens up to garden patio. Add to the list a wine cellar, and not just one but two office spaces. Apart from the multiple patios outdoors, the property also boasts of a very inviting salt water swimming pool.
Friends and other guests are also welcome to stay in the house's very own guest suite. This room is equipped with its own en-suite bath and ½ room.
Up the stairs, the master bedroom is very spacious with its own fireplace and corner windows. The owner of the house will be treated with a sweeping view of the city, the surrounding hills, and the nearby ocean. The master bed also fosters a harmonious relationship for the couple as it provides two "his and her" bathrooms wih their own walk-in closets. The bath is made out of elegant marble.
Late last year, Stan Lee sold another one of his Hollywood Hills property for $2.8 million. The cul-de-sac mansion has four beds and six baths. Not long after, he then purchased a $4.4 million Sunset Strip luxury home.
The National Medal of Arts awardee in 2008 is represented by Eymun Talasazan of Keller Williams Realty for this listing as per the LA Times.
