Manny Pacquiao Net Worth: 'Pacman' Drops $12.5M for P. Diddy's Mansion; But Why?

With Manny Paquiao's Net Worth of $110M, as stated in Celebrity Net Worth, Pacman got a pinch of it and drops $12.5M for P. Diddy's former mansion, says Pop Sugar.

According to Yahoo! News, Elsa Nelson of Nelson Shelton & Associates Real Estate were the agents who closed the sale. They were the same agents who brokered the sale to Puff Daddy in 1998 when he was still in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez. In 2001, Puff Daddy aka Sean "Diddy" Combs sold it again.

"This is the fourth time our company has sold that particular property," Nelson stated.

But why did Manny buy the house so soon?

Manny the family man

Paquiao has been wanting to buy the house even before the Manny Paquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Megafight on May 2. TMZ reported that Manny would want his whole family to be in the U.S. just in time for one of the most aniticipated boxing events in history.

Privacy is key

In an interview with GMA Network, Manny said he likes the house because it is "beautiful" and it can provide privacy and security for his family.

It can be recalled that Manny decided to sell his L.A. Mansion which was featured on MTV Cribs because of several instances of robbery, according to ABS-CBN News. Now, with the Mediterranean-style home being inside an exclusive, guard-gated community, Manny will not get worried about it anymore, comments Pop Sugar.

Fully-furnished

As reported on TMZ, Manny wanted his house furnished. He wouldn't want to worry about last-minute shopping rather than training for his megafight, would he?

Several Great Features

According to Pop Sugar, Manny likes the following features:

1. A $200, 000 Home Theater

The family would be enjoying every bit of the Manny vs Floyd battle, more especially if Pacman scores a knockout! It is very much equipped with luxurious upgrades like HD projection and surround sound, notes Pop Sugar.

2. Modern Kitchen

As seen in the GMA Network report, Manny and his Team Paquiao love to eat. Manny's caretaker and cook, Aunt Lilia, will not have a hard time cooking big Filipino meals with this modern kitchen. It has granite counters, custom cabinetry, and Viking appliances, as reported by Pop Sugar.

3. Resort-type Backyard: Perfect for Family Parties

Manny can easily throw big parties in his resort-like backyard which has a large pool, spa and patios.

4. Master Suite with His and Her Closet

Manny was definitely thinking about his wife when he bought the house. The "her" side is equipped with a steam shower, spa bathtub and 2 spacious walk-in closets, says Yahoo! News.

5. Several Bedrooms : Just the right size

The 7-bedroom, 8-bath mansion is what Manny needs for his growing family. He has three boys and two daughters, and each one could have his or her own room.
