'Big Hero 7' Plot, Spoilers & News: X-Men Member, Not Tadashi, Will Be Villain in Sequel? [Rumors]

Less than a year after the success of the Disney animated movie, "Big Hero 6," rumors have circulated that a sequel is in the works. However, it seems that fans would be treated to a surprise universe cross-over as reports came out that an X-Men member would be the newest villain in the second film.

While Disney has not made any official statement on the rumored sequel, it seems that there is a huge possibility this plan would push through.

Writer Jon Negroni is pretty confident that the men behind the top-grossing film would bank on its previous success and aim for a sequel. A report in Fashion & Style noted Negroni's theories written in a February article for Movie Pilot.

Negroni asserted that a sequel would be in the works as Marvel Studios, the original creator of "Big Hero 6," is known for making sequels to its films. Although the film is technically made by Disney, the company worked closely with Marvel personnel to bring to life Baymax and Hiro.

The writer added that the rumored film would bring in the return of a previous character, Tadashi, who is Hiro's brother thought to be dead due to a fire.

Now, the twist might be the fact that Tadashi did not really die in the first film. He said, "If there's no body, that character is alive." This would reportedly see the return of Hiro's brother.

However, it seemed that Tadashi would change and become an evil character. A report in Master Herald said that Hiro's brother would return as a villain in the next film.

One of the inventions in the exhibit which had nuclear energy saved him and transferred its power to Tadashi. This turned him into Sunfire.

Sunfire is also called the "Uncanny Avenger" and is a known member of X-Men in the Marvel Universe. He also happens to be a part of the original "Big Hero 6" group in the comic books.

As the movie will be made by Disney, it is almost a guarantee that the writers would find a different ending for Sunfire.

The twist would pave the way for the sequel's rumored title, "Big Hero 7," which is a reference to the seventh character to be added.

Neither Disney nor Marvel has issued any statement on the matter.
