'Mortal Kombat X' PS4, Xbox One Update: Predator, Jason Vorhees Confirmed? DLC Characters Now Complete!

It seems that "Mortal Kombat X" is going to be the bloodiest series of the franchise ever yet. New characters have been finally revealed to complete the latest title and they happen to be famous for their gruesome and brutal way of killing their opponents.

It has long been rumored that Predator would join the cast of playable characters for the upcoming tenth installment of the video game. A report in Tech Times finally confirmed his inclusion.

With Predator about to return for some new action, the "Mortal Kombat X" just got more exciting. The alien is known to fend off some of the other characters' powers such as Kung Lao's intense heat, or Sub Zero's cold, radiation from Raiden, and gunshots from Styker. It also has its own invisibility cloak that could provide protection from Smoke's attack and superhuman strength that could easily shake Jax off his feet.

While the infamous alien hunter already confirmed, Cinema Blend noted that it was not initially NetherRealm Studios who made it public. The announcement for Predator was made when Xbox.com mentioned the character's game in the description of the upcoming Kombat Pack DLC for the game.

It said, "The Kombat Pack is currently available in the 'Mortal Kombat X' Premium Edition on the Xbox Store. Kombat Pack grants early access to 4 new playable characters and skin packs. Stalk and slash your opponents as Horror Icon Jason Vorhees, or play as Predator, the Ultimate Hunter."

Aside from Predator and Friday the 13th's Jason Vorhees, two new characters would join them to complete the Kombat Pack. Tremor and Tanya were both confirmed to be part of "Mortal Kombat X."

According to Master Herald, Tremor's power lies in his ability to summon and "manipulate the forces of nature to his advantage," giving him an Earth Magic advantage. It would be the first time for him to join the DLC as his character was only encountered in the PlayStation Vita version of the Challenge Towers for "Mortal Kombat 9."

Meanwhile, Tanya, who was last seen in the "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon," would be able to use her fire magic to fight off opponents. Her agility is also part of her weapon which she utilizes to mete out pain.

With the confirmation of these four new characters, the Kombat Pack cast of characters is already complete and ready for battle.

"Mortal Kombat X" would hit shelves on April 14 for current generation consoles.
