Apple Watch App Linked to Real Estate Listings

Even the real estate industry is excited with the Apple Watch release this April 24 because an Apple Watch app linked to real estate listings will be simultaneously released on that date as well.

Apple has remained true to its commitment of merging modern technology with accessibility. This real-estate industry-specific app is linked to online real estate listings that makes property searching convenient and even more personal.

The property listing online website that welcomes this integration of the Apple Watch app in their system is realestate.com.au, The app, as announced by realestate.com.au, will alert home hunters and Apple Watch users to the current properties for sale in their area. With a wearable technology, a buyer could easily look at his wrist and search for a property, says news.com.au. What's more, the app will also give house hunters information on how to go to their chosen real estate properties through GPS directions.

According to realestate.com.au, the app also has the ability to voice-record notes, and syncs them to a property seeker's realestate.com.au account.

REA Group Chief Product Officer Henry Ruiz, says the app's development was a "natural product evolution," reports Property Portal Watch.

"Our product philosophy is to be on all devices that people use in their property search, to make their journey simple, efficient and stress free. Increasingly, that means on-the-go and wearable technology. Apple Watch delivers a whole new level of personalisation and our app has been developed to be intuitive, easy and fun to use, " says Ruiz.

Mr. Ruiz believes that this app will be an effective tool to real estate agents.

"We've also created an app that gives real estate agents a new way to effectively market their properties to audiences in the locality of their property. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilities to capture the interest of potential buyers who 'stumble across' properties in their immediate area," Mr. Ruiz adds.

Something that will benefit the buyers will benefit the sellers as well. If buyers could easily access a seller's listings, then more inquiries will be produced and should easily translate to more sales. Everyone will be happy. This is the kind of modern technology that is useful, powerful, and relevant.

Currently, the app is ready for download using iPhone, iPad and Android, says Property Portal Watch.

Meanwhile, the Apple Watch will be available in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the U.S. beginning April 24.

It has three variants: Apple Watch Sport, ($349 to $399), Apple Watch ($549 to $1,099) and Apple Watch Edition ($10,000 to $17,000).
