'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer, News & Plot: New Wonder Woman Character Details Revealed

"Fast and the Furious" star Gal Gadot's role as Wonder Woman has been an uphill climb for the Israeli model-turned-actress since her role was announced.

It's been months since role was confirmed and the 29-year-old, in a new interview, has finally spoken out about the criticisms she's received and also provided some details abut her new role.

While talking to Israeli publication Ynetnews (via Cinema Blend), she admitted knowing all that's been said about her. "They said that I was too skinny and my boobs were too small."

"I'm really lucky nothing in my life was instantaneous. When I was younger I would take criticism really hard. But now it mostly amused me. The true amazons had one boob so it won't bother them in their archery. So it's not going to be like real amazons. We always try to make everyone happy but we can't," said the actress when asked if she was offended.

She also added that no matter what anyone thinks or insinuations that her roles may type-cast her as an action star, she is grateful for her roles, especially because of the strength that Wonder Woman possesses.

"Yes, I get to play the strongest most empowering woman ever - Wonder Woman. I'm so grateful and I thank god every day. I want to devour it and enjoy every bite," said the actress.

When asked about her character, Gadot provided in depth detail as to the superhero's abilities including details that haven't been confirmed in the past.

"She has unbelievable endurance. She is exceptionally strong. She can jump really high and practically fly. She know tons of martial arts styles. She is a strong and serious Woman," revealed the iconic celebrity.

Details for the upcoming film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" have been few but it is known that the movie will serve as the springboard for the upcoming "Justice League Part 1," both directed by Zack Snyder.

Screen Rant writes that the film follows the events of "Man of Steel" where Superman (Henry Cavill) was involved in a Kryptonian attack on the Metropolis. The situation brings Batman (Ben Affleck) out of hiding as the Dark Knight seeks to hold Superman accountable for all that happened.

Stars in the film include Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne and much more.

No trailer for the movie has been released. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to hit theaters March 25, 2016 while Gadot's stand-alone Wonder Woman film, directed by Michelle MacLaren, has a release date of June 23, 2017.
