"Captain America" may have found his new leading lady. Actor Chris Evans has been spotted spending time with Lily Collins and their first public outing was dinner Saturday night.
According to E! Online, the 33-year-old film star shared dinner with the 26-year-old daughter of musician Phil Collins at a romantic Italian restaurant. "It for sure seemed like they were on a date," shared the publication's source.
The stars were said to have enjoyed their dinner out on the patio and were seen spending time laughing and lounging outside the restaurant as they wrapped up their meal and prepared to leave.
Popsugar reported that the date may have been a belated birthday celebration for Collins who turned 26 a few days earlier (March 18).
Both celebrities were dressed to impress as the "Mortal Instruments" actress donned sexy heels, a little black dress and a ton of smiles. Evans, on the other hand, looked every bit the action star in a black collared shirt and dark pants.
From the looks on their faces, the night's unexpected encounter with Evans' ex-girlfriend Minka Kelly -- who had dinner at the resto that night -- didn't affect their evening. There were no reports of a conflict between the former beaus.
Evans' former flame enjoyed dinner at the popular establishment with a friend.
New Couple Alert
Earlier this month Us Weekly wrote that the two actors began seeing each other after meeting at an Oscar soiree.
"It's just the beginning stages," confirmed a second insider. "But they're having a lot of fun and seeing where it goes."
Chris has been linked to other celebrity stars that include Jessica Biel AKA Mrs. Justin Timberlake (2004 to 2006) as well as Minka Kelly whom Evans was in an off-on relationship from that reportedly ended in 2013.
Minka and Chris were rumored to have concluded their affair in 2013 but some sources indicated that they were on the path towards reconciliation sometime in 2014, recalled the entertainment portal. Collins, on the other hand, has been rumored to be involved with Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel, Jamie Campbell Bower, Taylor Lautner as well as "High School Musical" star Zac Efron.
It seems the new rumored romance is just in the beginning stages with casual hangouts happening.
Chris Evans is set to appear in the upcoming summer blockbuster, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" as well as "Captain America: Civil War" where he dons the Marvel superhero outfit in the franchise's third installment.
