It seems that Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, may have an older sibling she and her mother did not know about. Reports are circulating that the singer's husband, Jay Z, has a secret love child during the 1990s. The rapper has been slapped with a lawsuit for allegedly lying about a DNA test to prove his paternity.
According to Hollywood Life, the 45-year-old rapper is currently facing a lawsuit filed by the guardian of a 21-year-old man claiming to be his son. Lillie Coley, the legal guardian of Rymir Satterthwait, filed the case in December 2014. The legal action was brought to court as Coley accused Jay Z of lying to court to avoid a paternity test in 2010.
Radar Online reported that Rymir and Jay Z's camp are already close to reaching a settlement. This sparked reports that the aspiring rapper was only after the money of the music mogul.
However, Coley was quick to deny the accusations and said, "It is not about the money at all."
She continued, "This is about making sure that Jay Z is held responsible for the emotional damage that he has caused Rymir."
"We are not the only ones who have been fighting for this. There are a lot of people in the courts, in the legal system, and in the justice system that have gone out of their way to support this because they have compassion," Coley added.
The 21-year-old's guardian said, "You have to go by what you believe is the truth and the truth in this case is undeniable."
It was learned that Satterthwait's mother already sued the "99 Problems" singer in 2010 and filed a motion for him to undergo a DNA test to prove his claim that he did not father the child.
During that time, New Jersey Superior Court Judge Edward McBride, Jr. dismissed the case because he did not have any jurisdiction over the rapper as his lawyer claimed he was a resident of Manhattan.
The 21-year-old aspiring rapper claimed to a court in New Jersey that his mother, Wanda, had an affair with Beyonce's husband in the 1990s which led to his birth, said Radar Online. He also claimed that the rapper had done everything to cover up the case and avoid submitting a DNA test, which included perjury.
Lisa Fisher, who represented Jay Z in 2010, told courts that he lived in New York when he actually has three houses in New Jersey.
