Kourtney Kardashian broke things off with Scott Disick before he entered rehab. A new report recently claimed that they are heading towards a $50 million legal battle. Despite not being married, the Kardashian-Disick split is easily the “messiest and most expensive splits ever,” according to Life & Style.
“They had it out for the last time,” the source revealed. “That 48-hour period made her realize he is so out of control. She can’t trust him with money or anything else anymore. He never uses his own cash, even when he buys his kids expensive things. He charges it on credit cards that Kourtney pays for.”
Kourtney and Disick have three children together, namely, five-year-old Maison, two-year-old Penelope, and four-month old Reign. Clearly, these adorable children will be caught right in the middle of their parents’ court battles. Family sources even claimed that they will most likely be used as bargaining chips, as reported by Hollywood Life.
“He will fight for joint custody of the kids, which basically means he wants to continue to get paid,” the source said. “Scott will hire the top lawyers in LA to take as much of Kourtney’s wealth as he possibly can.”
Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Disick failed rehab since he checked out of Rythmia Life Advance Center in Costa Rica earlier than he should have. This rehabilitation center is a facility that uses all-natural remedies for treating drug addiction. Disick was using organic tree roots to battle his inner demons.
However, having checked out without signs of recovery could only mean that the tree roots were not strong enough to keep Disick’s inner demons at bay. According to TMZ, he was only in rehab for less than a week, and is now back to his old partying ways as he was spotted in two different clubs, Vertigo and Rogue, in just one night.
To date, the Kardashian-Jenner family has not given any comment regarding Disick’s drug problem and recent checkout from the rehab. It is speculated that he may have left the facility without informing them.
Kourtney, who reportedly had enough of his wild partying antics, considers the court battle a worthy direction despite being very costly.
“Losing partial custody of her children is terrifying for Kourtney,” the source said. “But, if she also has to continue paying for Scott and his antics, too, it would be the end of her world.”
