Fans of Kevin Durant looking for a colorful and more playful design for his seventh shoe collaboration with Nike need not look further. The global sports brand recently announced the arrival of the new KD 7 in a bright colorway with the new "Easter" collection.
The upcoming "Easter" collection would display an array of basketball shoes from Nike's signature lines in bright pastel colors and graphics reminiscent of the eggs doled out during the holiday.
Listed officially under Nike as the lquid lime/ vapor green/ sunset glow/ black color, the new KD 7 "Easter" boasts of a vibrant color combination that might look too good to eat.
The shoe boasts of all the technology and features that come with the KD 7. A lime green HyperRev is found at the front of the sneaker while the Foamposite forms the midway part up to the heel comes in a micro camouflage pattern. The design is not just any other camouflage but was inspired by modern street art, said Sneaker Bar Detroit.
The midsole comes in a minty green tint also called vapor green while the outsole comes in a bright orange color. The shoe still contains the Max Zoom found at the heel area.
Black accents add a bit of toughness to the otherwise cheerful color combination. The Nike Swoosh, midfoot strap and "KD" initials on the tongue all come in a flat black color.
For those who are not too keen to have the camouflage design on their shoe, the KD 7 "Easter" would be available for customization once it gets released. The global sports brand is coming out with a new design to give users another option for their sneakers.
The shoe is part of the "Easter" collection and would come out on April. Other shoes featured with the bright colorway of Easter are the Kobe X, LeBron 12, and Kyrie 1.
The shoe is available in adult sizing and while it looks too good for young fans to enjoy their own pair too, no announcement has been made whether Nike would release smaller fits in grade school, preschool, and toddler sizes.
The KD 7 "Easter" would be available to Nike.com and Nike select retailers on April 2. For those who could not wait for that day, there are some select retailers on eBay where one could purchase, noted Sneaker News. Check out Tyja17 at the online store to grab a pair in advance.
