JJ Redick just listed his Texas home for $6.9 million, an amount that is almost double what the home sold for back in 2012. The guard of the Los Angeles Clippers is hopeful that his lucky touch in basketball translates to the real estate game.
This Austin, Texas property has a gated drive and spans for more than an acre. The house has a Tuscan theme and a grand foyer with intricately arched doorways and ceilings, paired with a checkerboard design on its stone flooring by its main entrance.
To further add to the mansion's luxurious appeal, it also has elaborate chandeliers, exposed beams, and skillfully textured wall and ceiling treatments throughout the 9,479 square feet of space. Redick's former home has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
It has a huge center-island inside its kitchen, a wonderful dining room that showcases a brick herringbone ceiling, a wine cellar with brick linings, and a wood-paneled office area. Its very own media room has a slatted wood finish that boasts of four flat screen televisions.
Apart from those, Redick's entertainment room also has its own drop-down movie screen which easily transforms the room into a theater. To make this special room even more interesting, it also has its own wet bar.
It has an outdoor living room that is beautified with a set of stone columns. The place also has its own wall fireplace and another flat screen television. A few feet away is a wide outdoor entertainment space with a covered patio, a kitchen, and another wet bar. This facility is looking over an infinity pool and spa area with a dual waterfall feature as well as customized light settings.
According to Los Angeles Times, the last time Redick's property was purchased was back in 2012 for only $3.8 million.
Redick showed off his basketball skills on the hardwood when the Clippers recently won four games in a row. Despite being at his prime years, at the age of 30 years old, he still averages 15.8 points per game and continues to shoot a career-best record of 42.8 percent.
Before he became part of the Clippers, he played for the Orlando Magic and the Milwaukee Bucks. Magic was the team that selected him 11th overall during the draft season in 2006.
