It seems that fans anticipating to see Batman back in action in their game consoles would have something very exciting to look forward to. Reports came out that more characters and villains would be introduced in the upcoming video game, "Batman: Arkham Knight."
According to a report in Master Herald, while Batman already attracts many players into the game, the other half of the equation that made the franchise successful are the supporting characters.
The website further stated that the upcoming game is filled with surprising things that would definitely keep players hooked. One thing gamers could expect is to see Batman's enemies working together to take down the city's hero.
A report in Christian Today noted that a gameplay trailer released in early March showed the caped crusader's enemies obeying and doing tasks for the Scarecrow.
It seems that the Scarecrow has taken the lead to unite all of Batman's enemies with the single purpose of taking him down. Getting orders from the Scarecrow, other villains would wreak havoc to the city to help achieve the Scarecrow's plan of taking over.
While it might seem improbable that other villains would follow the Scarecrow's orders, the site reported of a possible twist to the story. Hush is said to join the cast of the upcoming video game and is the real brains behind Scarecrow's move.
Aside from the Scarecrow and Hush, other characters would be introduced in "Batman: Arkham Knight."
Venture Capital Post confirmed that the Riddler and Harley Quinn would also join the list of characters out to get Batman in the coming video game. Rocksteady Marketing Manager Gaz Deaves promised that Batman's enemies would pose more challenges and threats to the caped crusader.
One of the questions is the identity of the Arkham Knight, who is the true enemy of Batman. The site listed possible characters that could be behind Batman's villain's identity but no confirmation from the developers was made.
Hush, Jason Todd, Ra's al Ghul are among those speculated to be the man behind the Arkham Knight. The Joker, killed at the "Batman: Arkham City," might also return and show that his death was faked so he could take down Batman.
Whether any of these villains or an entirely different one is the Arkham Knight, it remains to be seen when the video game gets released on June 23.
The game by Rocksteady was supposed to come out on June 2 but developers pushed back the date to ensure that the upcoming game would be excellent, reported Science Fiction.
