Buyers looking for a piece of property with a scenic view of the canyons and hills in Southern California need not look any further. Miami Heat player Chris Bosh has been looking for a new owner to take care of his Pacific Palisades mansion and he even sweetened the deal by slashing off $1.5 million to the price.
The property, built in 2001, is located in a 1.45-acre lot in the Pacific Highlands, noted Los Angeles Times. The NBA player acquired the property in 2012 for $9.4 million but rarely stayed there since then.
More like a resort than a house, the property boasts of a 10,800-square feet living area that comes with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. There is also a library that could be converted into an office.
The house is perfect for someone who loves entertaining as it is equipped with a gourmet kitchen and wine cellar to house choice drinks for guests and social gatherings.
Realtor noted that the kitchen in itself is a reflection of luxury with granite countertops and customized cabinets and cupboards made of natural cherry wood. Commercial-grade ovens, gas stoves, and a pizza oven are among the options for food preparation inside the glamorous kitchen.
Meanwhile, the master bedroom is a universe in itself as it comes with its own gym, tub, and a private sitting room. Wardrobe space would not be a problem as it is adjacent to a walk-in closet to house the owner's clothes and shoes.
The house's unique amenities do not end there. Step outside and one would see an infinity pool with spa beside a swim-up bar. There is also an outdoor bar and lounge with a fire pit to keep one warm during chilly nights.
The place also has its own movie theater and area for recreation with a customized billiards table on it.
It was initially listed for sale in July 2014 for the price of $14.5 million but as there was no buyer, Bosh chopped down the price by $2 million, said Realty Today in October 2014.
As the property remains listed and available in the market, the NBA player once again decided to bring the price down by $1.5 million, following the example set by his good friend, LeBron James, who slashed of $2 million from his Coconut Grove Palace to list it as $1.5 million currently, noted Realty Today.
Those who could not afford to hand out that huge amount at one time could also lease the property for $45,000 a month.
