“The Walking Dead” Season 5 finale is near, and spoilers regarding the end of the show’s fifth season keep surfaced on the Internet. Taking a look at the spoilers, it would appear that new characters will be introduced, while old, significant ones might meet their demise.
The Spoiling Dead Fans have shared a full summary for the last episode of Season 5, and things are not looking peachy for Rick’s group, as well as the people of the Alexandria Safe Zone.
Morgan is finally back in the game. He is shown surviving all by himself when a man with a “W” on the forehead, suddenly approaches him and aims a gun right at him. He asks the man about the letter “W” and the man, who is allegedly going to be played by Benedict Samuel, tells him all about The Wolves.
After the story-telling, however, Morgan gets in his all-out survival mode and kills off the man, and a second accomplice, with the use of his hiking stick.
Aaron, played by Ross Marquand, and Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, are on their usual patrols, trying to look for other survivors who could turn out to be assets for their community. They come across a truck, which turns out be a trap. Over a hundred zombies step out, leaving the duo no choice but to hide inside a car. In the car, however, is a note that says, “Trap – bad people coming. Do not stay.”
Daryl thinks of a plan to get them out of the car, which involves Aaron running out while he tackles the zombies. Aaron, proving that he is not the coward he is thought to be, says that he wants to stay and fight. This is where Morgan, steps in, as reported by The International Business Times.
Morgan rescues the duo and they tell him about the ASZ. However, he tells them that he is heading towards a different place and shows them the map.
Back inside the community, Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, takes some of Deanna’s family members hostage while the rest of the group attempts to conquer the armory.
Pete manages to take hold of Michonne’s katana and tells everyone that Rick will never be one of them. As he charges towards Rick, he accidentally hurts Deanna’s husband, Reg, and slits his throat. Abraham then holds Pete, while Deanna goes into hysterics seeing her husband choke on his own blood. As a last resort, she permits Rick to kill Pete, something that Rick is very happy to do.
Morgan, Aaron, and Daryl then return to the community and Rick and his old friend gets into an unexpected reunion after not having seen each other for a very long time.
Meanwhile, the members of the The Wolves are shown having gathered in an unknown location, while looking at pictures of the Alexandria Safe Zone.
According to Huffington Post, Daryl might be the one to bite the dust as Season 5 ends, since his has been slated to appear on “The Talking Dead.” As avid “The Walking Dead” fans are well aware of, an appearance on “The Talking Dead” could serve as a death sentence for the characters. Plus, Reedus has also told his fans multiple times to have their tissues ready, as reported by Uproxx.
