Xiaomi Mi Note & Mi 4 – Full Specs, Price: Available in Retail Stores

Xiaomi has just announced that two of its smartphones will be available in multiple retail stores soon. For now, though, the tech company’s Redmi Note 4G and Mi 4 will only be available in select locations of The Mobile Store in Delhi NCR.

According to NDTV, only “limited stocks” will be available when the units are launched on Saturday. This deal has been made possible by the tie-up that Xiaomi has signed with known online retailer Flipkart. Through this collaboration, Xiaomi can sell their latest devices in India.

The 16 GB Xiaomi Mi 4 will be available at a price of $319.83, while the Xiaomi Note, the Redmi Note 4G can be purchased at only $159.91.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 sports the company’s signature MIUI 6-skin on top and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat. It features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processer with a 2.5 GHz and 3 GB of RAM. Although this particular unit is reportedly going to come in two storage variants, 16 GB and 64 GB, it would appear that The Mobile Store only has its 16 GB version in stock.

For the display, the Xiaomi Mi 4 will be having the same 5-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, much like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi 3. What sets them apart will be the former’s JDI OGS full lamination display.

The Mi 4 will also be boasting of a 13-megapixel camera on its rear and an 8-megapixel camera on its front, both of which will be featuring the CMOS sensors from Sony. Furthermore, it will be backed by a powerful 3080 mAh Li-ion battery.

The Xiaomi Note, on the other hand, has reportedly been inspired by the iPhones from Apple, according to Mashable. The report has stated that if the iPhone 4S, the iPhone 6, and the iPhone 6 Plus morphed together, the Xiaomi Note is most likely going to be the result. Moreover, as the device has succeeded in all of its aspects, the report went on to say that it is pretty rare to find an Android unit that comes to par with Apple’s latest line of gadgets.

The International Business Times is convinced that Xiaomi, a Chinese company, might as well be Apple’s next big contender. It is now considered as “The Apple of China,” especially after it gained international recognition after selling its devices in only a matter of seconds when it had flash sales across Indonesia, India, and, of course, China.
