It looks like rock icon Jon Bon Jovi would go on to wallow on his "bed of roses" from now on and "always". And, the singer/songwriter has every reason to do so.
Bon Jovi, whose given name is John Francis Bongiovi, Jr., has reportedly closed a deal with his SoHo penthouse for $37.5 million, as told by the New York Daily News. The 7,452-square-foot luxury duplex in New York had been a regular fixture on the market for well over two years, when it was first listed back in March of 2013 at an asking price of $42 million.
As was previously reported here in RealtyToday, the NYC penthouse came to Bon Jovi's possession in 2007 for $24 million. Almost half a year after its original listing date, the property was re-listed in September 2013 for $39 million after failing to attract new ownership.
The mark down on the price tag didn't work, either, and the property was eventually taken off the market. It was re-listed anew in April of the previous year for its current price of $37.5 million. The real estate saga has just ended with the sale to the new owner whose identity was not disclosed.
Supermodel Heidi Klum was reported to have taken the time to check out the listing last year, the USA Today notes. You can take a peek inside the stunning penthouse located at the New Museum Building with these listing photos.
