The Florida home Vanilla Ice has allegedly looted is for sale, TMZ reported.
The Lantana home's price tag is set at $1.6M. The house has three bedrooms, two baths and a three-car carage. The photos showing the exterior and interior of the house can be seen also on TMZ.
Based on the photo of the home's exterior, the frontage is wide showing the white-painted garage lined up side by side. The Lantana house has a welcoming and homey feel from its soothing combination of light yellow and white. The two-story house has earth-toned roof.
The interior of the house has the same color combination of yellow and white, mixed with light brown. The house has high ceilings, which means it has good ventilation. The home boasts of a slightly curving grand staircase and an ornately-designed chandelier. The interior has lightly-painted walls contributing much to its vibrant ambiance. The house features a couple of pillars hinting a Romanesque design. The last photo shows that the house is near and could have a nice water view of either a pond or a lake.
The outlet noted that this is the same vacant house that Vanilla ice reportedly got some furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other stuff. The former rapper said that he thought they could be picked up as they were just left in the curb.
According to Gossip Extra, the TV show host allegedly robbed the house of various things amounting to $7,550. Aside from the previously mentioned items such as the pool heater ($3,000) and two bicycles ($400), this is the list the furniture stolen according to the owner's estate: iron table with glass top ($450), three bar stools ($300), 12 patio chairs ($1,000), Artwork ($300), Glass vase ($100), two mattresses ($200), Beige clothe sofa ($1,000), Large mirror ($500), Mirror coffee table ($100), Glass tchotchkes ($100) and two glass trinkets ($100). These items were found inside the house being rehabilitated by the DIY host, very near the Lantana home.
In February, ABC news reported that Robert Van Winkle, the former rapper's real name, was charged with "burglary residence and grand theft." He reportedly stayed at Palm Beach County Jail but was released on the same night of his arrest after posting a $6,000 bond, said Fox News.
Vanilla Ice spoke to West Palm Beach, Florida, ABC affiliate WPBF and aired his side. "It's just out of proportion I wish you guys would focus on the good things I've done," Van Winkle said. He was also asked in his interview if this was just a scheme in his DIY Reality Show. The host replied, "I wish it was--there's nothing fun about this. I wish everyone the best and maybe the good news will travel this fast."
TMZ reported that the host already returned the items but could still face formal charges in April.
