Fans of the cops and robbers shooting game, "Battlefield Hardline", would soon get their hands on a solution to the glitches encountered in the game. Reports have revealed that the developer behind the game is coming out with the first patch to address players' concerns in gameplay.
Almost two weeks since "Battlefield Hardline" came out and many players have encountered problems and glitches with the system. Game Rant reported that many Xbox One users experienced connection issues which was caused by a DDoS attack.
The connection problem was not the first time a "Battlefield" game encountered issues. When "Battlefield 4" came out, it was riddled with so many issues that Electronic Arts, game publisher, filed a case against Visceral.
Now, Visceral is reportedly coming out with the first ever patch for "Battlefield Hardline" to address the bugs and glitches, which has caused problems to many players.
While the new patch hopes to address all issues encountered by the players, its main target is to fix the "Team Deathmatch spawning as 'friendzones have been adjusted'" said another Game Rant report.
Aside from that, the patch will also reportedly fix some weapons being used in the game. Guns, such as the Saiga, PRT, HCAR, and HK51 are set to have their recoil power lessened.
The FMG-9 is supposed to get an upgrade with an increase in damage. The .410 Jury would also be upgraded so that each pellet fired could cause more damage than its previous capability.
On the other hand, some weapons have had its damages downgraded. One example is the Battlerifle which the power has been lowered down to 25.
Meanwhile, a report in Games Radar has noted that the new patch would also affect the Conquest Mode in the new game. The update would increase the "Conquest Large's ticket rations to 999 per side and standard conquest to 600."
The update is also expected to address the online problems encountered wherein servers crashed as soon as players tried to connect. Players using Xbox 360 which were unable to invite friends after coming of "Rescue" are expected to be able to do so once the patch has been downloaded.
For a complete list of the bug fixes and gameplay upgrades the new patch would bring, check out the post in the Battlelog where all the inclusions of the patch has been enumerated.
Visceral has not announced a specific date for the patch update. However, it is expected to arrive soon as most of the fixes are already done with the testing phase.
