What these WWE superstar wrestlers do for a living is no child's play. The physically taxing and back-breaking stunts they pull off, for the love of fans and of what they do, are what separate men from the boys. They earn their keep and get paid handsomely, of course, which they are so deserving of.
And when the big boys are not out there going after each other's skeletal system, you can find them hanging out in their mansions which, by the way, also separate the big earners from the have-nots. Here are five of WWE's biggest draw.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
The "Hercules" and "Scorpion King" star bought a Southwest Ranches estate in Florida for $3.45 million back in 2012, as told by TMZ. The 13,153 sq. ft. home, that sits on a 2.2 acre lot, has five beds and seven baths. It was previously owned by another athlete, Miami Dolphins' Vernon Carey. Recently, Forbes' top grossing actor in 2013 is also getting some bad press over his alleged "trashing" of a Florida property which he, together with his entourage, had rented out for $25,000 a month while he was filming another movie, The Inquisitr reports. He denied the allegations through his Twitter account.
Vince McMahon
The chairman and CEO of WWE owns a $40 million mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut as cited by CelebrityNetWorth. And rightfully so, Vince Mcmahon was listed as a billionaire by Forbes in 2014 with a net worth of $1.2 billion.
He also owns a $12 million Manhattan penthouse, apart from other expensive properties, according to Famous-entrepreneurs.com.
John Cena
The college football player transitioned into the world of wrestling and joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2002. He had since made his mark on its legion of loyal followers.
The popular wrestler calls a Nature's Reserve in Land O'Lakes, Florida property his home, as per TheRichest.com. The waterfront mansion features a swimming pool and a boat dock. Lately, it also shares the limelight with its owner when it was featured in E channel's reality TV show, the "Total Divas".
John Cena reportedly earns $3 million per annum and gets his fair share of 6 percent in merchandise sales as WWE brand's hottest selling commodity, as told by WhatCulture.
Mark "The Undertaker" Calaway
No. The Undertaker does not reside in the perdition. He's actually enjoying his semi-retirement in the lone star state, WhatCulture notes. Calaway purchased a Hacienda Ridge mansion in Austin, Texas with his wife Michelle McCool.
He is also said to have acquired other real estate properties around the country that includes another Texas house in Cedar Creek.
Rey Mysterio
The San Diego native owns and lives in his California mansion in Chula Vista. Rey Mysterio, or Oscar Gutierrez in real life, is also reportedly taking a cut from the WWE merchandise sales at 4 percent. His home features a huge pool area dotted by overgrown palm trees.
According to a fansite, Rey Mysterio is a big fan of "Scarface" and "The Godfather" veteran Hollywood actor Al Pacino. He also loves skulls and tattoos.
