"Dallas" star Charlene Tilton is reportedly undergoing too much emotional distress over her Burbank apartment that it has become a "living hell" for her, says TMZ.
The actress, who played Lucy Ewing in the series, plans to sue her landlord over incidents she could no longer tolerate, as mentioned in the outlet. She pays a monthly rent of $2,600, however, the situation she is in right now is no longer acceptable for her. According to the outlet, her landlord has been doing a three-month construction project which Tilton claims has shattered her peace because it "involved several weeks of breaking concrete." The star who also appeared in the 1991 movie "Problem Child 2" states that she can not even use the pool to swim or exercise in the apartment's gym and that the elevator "doesn't work half the time," WPTV reports.
The "#1 Cheerleader Camp" actress is also forced to close her windows often because opening them would just subject her ears to loud and ear-shattering noise, aside from dust pollution from the construction that is just "unbearable," WPTV adds.
Because of these incidents, the 56-year-old actress has decided that enough is enough. She had "extreme emotional distress" in the "unlivable" apartment, that's why she's determined to take the issue to court, TMZ notes.
TMZ has contacted the landlord and the outlet reports that he has tried to reach out to the actress by offering a discount on Tilton's monthly rent. However, they were not able to agree on the terms.
Tilton was part of the original cast of "Dallas" which premiered in CBS in 1978 and aired until 1991, notes We Love Soaps.
Aside from having a beautiful face and voluptuous body that fans of the "Dallas" soap had remembered her, she is also a "professional-caliber singer," says IMDB. The database even mentioned that she had performed all her character's singing parts in "Dallas" like when "Lucy Ewing runs away with the Greg Evigan character, to try and become a country-western star."
Miss Tilton's vocal prowess is very impressive that she was even offered the role of Rizzo in "Grease" in the 1990s. She reportedly turned it down because she felt that being a loving mother to her Cherish that time was more important. She stated, "My daughter was just starting high school, and I wanted to be there for her."
IMDB notes that Miss Tilton released a single titled "Cest La Vie."
