Zachary Quinto Spends $3.1 Million for Manhattan Love Nest

Zachary Quinto, whose portrayal of "Star Trek's" Spock in TV and stage garnered him positive reviews, must really have caught the love bug these days. The versatile character actor who played Sylar in "Heroes" spent over $3.1 Million for a Manhattan loft, reports Trulia. Trulia notes that he paid $3,162,500 for the pad and will share the space with his boyfriend Miles McMillan and their two dogs -- Irish wolfhound-terrier Noah, and smaller terrier, Skunk.

The Manhattan love nest for Zachary Quinto and his model partner, Miles, is said to be a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath loft with an elevator that opens directly into the unit, says Zillow. The New York luxury loft that will soon be witness to the pair's 18-months and counting romance, is reportedly an almost 2,300 sq. ft. of living space.

The elegantly designed unit has walnut floors and wide windows that give views of three locations from the interior. The Manhattan unit is also equipped with a home office, while the kitchen's modern floor plan will harbor envy from chefs and cooking enthusiasts as it features an open kitchen and a walk-in pantry.

The Quinto home also has built-in book cases and storage for a very organize abode. Zillow says that the listing agents who brokered the sale for Quinto's purchase were Patrick V. Lilly and Martin Eiden of Core.

The listing website also noted that Quinto's home in Los Feliz, Los Angeles has been sold for $1.279 million, in the latter half of last year. He reportedly gained more in the sale of the Los Feliz home because it was only listed for $1.165M.

Quinto had just finished the project "I Am Michael," with his role as Michael's boyfriend. Michael Glatze, a gay character who eventually renounced homosexuality, was played by "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "Spider-Man" actor and Oscar nominee for "127 Hours", James Franco.

Quinto liked his role, Bennett, in the film. The actor said to Salt Lake Tribune, "I like what the character that I play represents in the film, which is integrity and groundedness and authenticity and acceptance of who he is. And those are all qualities that I strive for in my own life, so I thought that those parallels were apt. I really liked the script. I really liked the director."

Quinto also has played Mimi-Rose's villainous ex- in "Girls," and the slapper in NBC's "The Slap," notes Zilow.

Quinto is also set to appear in NBC's "Hannibal" Season 3 as a guest star, announced Entertainment Weekly. For avid fans of the discontinued "Heroes" series, this will be an exciting reunion for "Hannibal" boss Bryan Fuller, former "Heroes" writer and Quinto.
