American fans of LeBron Jame's 12th signature sneaker with global sports brand Nike would have a new thing to be excited about. Word is out that Nike is coming out with a low top version of the LeBron 12 in classic and patriotic colors.
According to the site Waiting For Next Year, the LeBron 12 "USA" is the first among the series of low top shoes that Nike would roll out.
The new LeBron 12 "USA" would feature the same technology that came with the high top version of the NBA star's 12th signature sneaker. We Are Testers outlined all the good traits that comes with this popular shoe and why it would make a great choice for any basketball player, professional or not.
The site first noted the LeBron 12's intense traction and grip, that would avoid any player from slipping, to be an advantage. It also highlighted the shoe's cushion that could help soften the blow on the feet as they impact the floor, which is a great way to avoid injuries for any basketball fan.
All these qualities have been combined in a new low top version for people who might not want that extra ankle coverage that comes with the high top edition.
The new LeBron 12 "USA" features a crisp and clean color for the popular design. It comes in a white Fuse upper and midsole. Flecks of navy blue are seen on the sneaker's Flywire shoelace rings as well as the inner lining.
Meanwhile, a hint of red is found at the heel part of the sneaker in the form of a black and red striped tab. A transparent max air unit is situated at the shoe's heel area.
Adding a pop of color to the whole look are the gold accents found on the shoe's signature Nike Swoosh, as well as a gum-style outsole.
LeBron James' crown logo, found at the shoe's heel and sole, completes the look of this very unique low top design of the popular sneaker.
The new LeBron 12 "USA" colorway does not celebrate or was not inspired by any holiday or world games, noted Sneaker News. However, the site was quick to mention that Nike does not necessarily need an actual holiday to come up with a nationalistic design for the famous shoe style.
The LeBron 12 Low "USA" drops on Nike retailers and Nike.com on April 9. Each pair would be sold at $175, said Nice Kicks.
