A week before "Mortal Kombat X" is set to hit stores and game consoles, the game's developers continued to keep the hype with videos and trailers of gameplay users could expect from the upcoming game. A recent clip was released and it highlights the power and strength the series' most famous villain could offer when it launches next week.
Game Rant reported that NetherRealm Studios came out with a new gameplay trailer, called the "Kombat Kast Twitch," which showed how menacing Goro could be in the next installment of the video game.
Goro has been known as a villain in the franchise but would finally be introduced as a playable character in the "Mortal Kombat X."
The video showed three new moves the character could use to beat its enemy in the upcoming game. The first is the "Tiger Fury," which allows players to attack its enemy at a farther distance than usual. It also uses Flame Ball and Dragon Breath as key weapons.
Another move that Goro could use is the "Dragon Fangs." The style utilizes gauntlets with blades to attack its opponents. Lastly, Goro has the option to use "Kuatan Warrior." This style is done on a close-range distance with his opponent and makes use of the character's strength.
The fighting style variants available for Goro would allow players to try out ways to beat his opponents in both close and distant ranges.
Aside from Goro's gameplay, the video also touched on Jax and Jacqui Briggs' strengths and what could be expected from the two characters in the upcoming game.
Jacqui would reportedly make use of a shotgun, full auto, and high tech, while Jax would utilize wrestling, heavy weapons, and "pumped up."
The "Kombat Kast Twitch" also showed another fatality that comes with the character. While Goro is known to be one of the most evil villains there is in the series, the newest clip to show another of his gameplay fatalities is more brutal and graphic than ever.
Goro comes as a playable character for those who pre-ordered the video game, noted Tech Times. However, he would soon be available for purchase in an upcoming DLC for the game.
NetherRealm Studios has yet to reveal when the said DLC would arrive and what other things could be expected to come with it.
"Mortal Kombat X" would arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on April 14.
