“Pitch Perfect” 2 will not be hitting theaters until a month from now but fans of the franchise have something to look forward to. For those who have long been waiting for the sequel, the news that the Barden Bellas will be featured at the MTV Movie Awards would definitely be exciting.
Although not much has been divulged regarding the surprise, MTV reported that an all-new exclusive sneak peek into the much awaited sequel will be featured during the night of the awards. Rebel Wilson, former MTV Movie Awards host, will be joined in the special performance by Hailee Steinfeld and Brittany Snow.
Wilson easily stole many scenes in “Pitch Perfect” where she plays the role of Fat Amy. Moreover, if the official trailer of the sequel is any indication, then it looks like she will continue to headline the movie with her unique signature humor.
The 29-year-old comedienne from Australia revealed to Elle, as reported by Christian Times, that when she had to choose between her love life and her career, she chose the latter. Since she had to travel a lot because of her work, she hardly had any time to have any romance in her life.
“At first, I moved from Sydney to Melbourne because most of the comedy was shot in Melbourne, and then from Melbourne to Los Angeles,” she shared. “A few days ago, I was in New York, and, in a few days, I am going to London to shoot. I am constantly moving and constantly traveling. And so, it is really hard to maintain a relationship in that kind of environment.”
“You have to sacrifice stuff,” she added. “You have to sacrifice relationships because you work, and now, I travel all around the world.”
She also explained that even if she was dating anyone, she would not announce it to the media. “You have to have some private stuff,” she said. “And so, I have never flaunted anything or talked about anybody. And also, because it is not that interesting.”
Wilson is presently living with Matt Lucas, her co-star in “Bridesmaids” in West Hollywood. However, there are no sparks between the two since Lucas is openly gay.
The “Pitch Perfect” star first shot to fame in the United States when she was selected to star in “Bridesmaids” in 2011 with Lucas and Kristen Wiig, who played the role of Annie Walker.
“Pitch Perfect 2” is already been slated for an official release on May 15, 2015. Wilson will be joined by Skylar Astin, Steinfeld, Snow, Anna Kendrick, and Anna Camp.
